The City of Brandon’s Transit team, partnered with Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation, has unveiled colourful murals on two concrete bus benches in the downtown.
A number of artists were contacted from various communities including Winnipeg, Regina, Whitemouth, Harding, Kenton and Brandon.
The artist chosen was Miguel Rodriguez from Brandon. The City says ” You may recall his work from another mural in the downtown area located at 440 Rosser Avenue. Miguel has lived in Brandon for 15 years and is an artist and healer.”

The City says “Transit is proud to collaborate with other downtown partners in this project and are hopeful that these beautiful designs help bring life to downtown.”
