Arrest Warrant
On May 12th at 3:20 pm, Brandon police conducted a pedestrian check of an intoxicated female in the 1000 block of Pacific Avenue. Police say a 21-year-old female was arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for breaching her probation. She will be released in the morning for court on June 10th, 2024.
Mischief Under $5000
On May 12th, police arrested a 45-year-old male for Mischief Under $5000. On April 21st at 03:53 am, police say the male was attempting to use an ATM at a business in the 1000 block of Richmond Avenue when the ATM would not eject his card. The accused left the business and returned with pliers in an attempt to get the card back and damaged the machine. He will appear in court on July 29th, 2024.
Assault
On May 12th, Brandon police arrested an 18-year-old male for two counts of Assault, Mischief Under $5000 and failing to comply with his probation. On May 5th at 9:45 pm, a resident in the 100 block of 2nd Street reported their large picture window was smashed. The resident ran out to confront the suspect and was allegedly punched in the face. It was learned the accused had reportedly punched his ex-girlfriend in the face earlier that day. He was on a court order not to communicate with her. No serious injuries were reported. The accused was held for court on May 13th, 2024.
