Brandon city council meets tonight. Some of the items on the agenda include:
-Councillors will consider a request from the John Howard Society to boost funding for its transitional housing project. The society says construction costs have increased for the 24-unit facility.
-Councillors will also vote on whether to officially adopt the 20-year city master plan.
-Councillor Bruce Luebke will present some options for bringing in photo radar and red light cameras.
-There will be a public hearing into designating a Queen Anne-style home on 11th Street a municipal heritage site,
-and councillors will get an update on the bee-hive project at Brandon University.
