3 new COVID-19 cases identified in Manitoba

Total in the Prairie Mountain Health region remains at 39

The province is reporting 3 new cases of COVID-19 increasing Manitoba's total to 407, in the Prairie Mountain Health region the total is still 39. 

Health officials say of the new cases two are from the Interlake-Eastern Health region and one from the Winnipeg Health region. There are 74 active cases in the province, six people are currently in the hospital, including four in intensive care. The number of deaths due to the virus remains at eight, 325 people have recovered. 

Meanwhile a case that was identified on July 25, a man in his 50s from the Winnipeg health region, is being removed from the case totals after an investigation determined the individual had recovered from a previous infection from another province.
