The province is reporting eight new COVID-19 cases, two of which are from the Prairie Mountain Health region increasing Westman's total to 33.
Health officials say Manitoba's COVID total has risen to 374, 49 of which are active, one COVID patient is in intensive care. The number of deaths due to the virus remains at seven, 318 people have recovered.
Recent case counts are reflective of an outbreak of cases in several Hutterite colonies as well as travel-related cases. The investigations are ongoing. When completed, additional information will be provided as needed to inform people of any public health risks. The province says seven of today's eight cases are on Hutterite colonies.
The Camperville Primary Health Care Centre and Waterhen Primary Health Care Centre, both in the Prairie Mountain Health region, are providing additional COVID-19 testing on Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until otherwise noted. In addition, a drive-thru testing site will be available in Russell, at the Russell EMS Building located at 426 Alexandria Ave. S., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. between July 24 and July 31.
