The province is reporting nine new COVID-19 cases increasing Manitoba’s total to 1,273.
Of the new cases; one is in the Prairie Mountain Health region, two in the Southern Health region and six cases in Winnipeg.
Health officials say there are 422 active cases, 155 of those are in Brandon. There are 11 people currently in the hospital with one in intensive care, and 835 people have recovered from the virus.
Meanwhile, the Manitoba government released the ‘Wear It Well’ animated video. This resource, for parents, teachers and early childhood educators, will help teach younger children how to wear a non-medical mask and take steps to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
