Additional COVID-19 vaccine clinics this week in Westman

Clinics scheduled for Killarney, Cypress River, Melita & Boissevain

Prairie Mountain Health has scheduled additional COVID-19 vaccine Pop-Up Walk-in Clinics.

They inlcude:

-Killarney – Foodbank – 715 Mountain Avenue, Friday, Sept. 17 – 10 am to 1 pm

-Cypress River – Memorial Hall – 149 Railway Avenue, Saturday, Sept. 18 – 9 am to Noon

-Melita – Enns Brothers Place – 180 Townsend Drive, Saturday, Sept. 18 – Noon to 3 pm

-Boissevain – Civic Centre – 420 South Railway Street, Saturday, Sept. 18 – 12:30 pm to 4 pm 

First dose eligibility:

-Pfizer vaccine 1st dose eligibility is anyone born on or before December 31, 2009 - Moderna vaccine 1st dose eligibility is 18 years and older
Second-dose eligibility:

-At least 28 days after your 1st shot 

Anyone who received a first dose of AstraZeneca can receive a second dose of Moderna or Pfizer.

It is recommended to wait at least 8 weeks after receiving a 1st dose of AstraZeneca/COVIDSHIELD before receiving a 2nd dose of any vaccine. Consent forms are required for both doses. Please bring forms to appointments.
