Mosquitoes, flood damage and the Keystone Centre's financial situation are all to be discussed at Brandon council today.

Councillor Shaun Cameron will push to start fogging mosquitoes after an explosion of the pests.

New trap counts will be released tomorrow, and will probably show an increase in numbers. The last counts from the first weekend in July were in the 'medium' range - too low to begin fogging.

Also a report is expected from the Keystone Centre that'll outline losses since the pandemic began which could total $3.2-million this year.

And a report will outline the damage from storms and flooding in Brandon. Councillors are expected to request disaster aid from the province to help pay for damage to city facilities and infrastructure and private properties.
