Brandon council to look at spending more on flood protections today

Also reports into LINKS vocational school and 4-R Waste Ambassador program

Brandon city councillors will be asked to approve more money for flood protections at today's meeting. 

An additional $100-thousand dollars would be used to install sump pumps and backwater valves.

Council will also hear a report into a new private vocational school. The LINKS Institute plans to offer on-line courses in the the mental health and social service fields.

And there will be an update on Earth Week and the new '4-R Waste Ambassador Program'.
