Brandon police investigating two more break-ins

Officers also locate vehicle stolen out of Winnipeg, and more

Brandon police are dealing with two more break-ins.

Officers say a garage was broken into on Balmoral Bay, suspects entered through an unlocked door, and stole a wallet, and car keys from an unlocked vehicle. 

And thieves entered a garage in the 2300' of Princess Avenue, through a door that was left open, and took a red Norco Bike, a bright yellow two seat chariot and power tools.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact Brandon police services.

On July 26, 2021, police located a vehicle parked in the 700 block of 10th street with a stolen license plate.  The license plate had been stolen out of Portage la Prairie.  Further investigation revealed that the vehicle, a grey Ford Escape, which did not match the licence plate, had been stolen out of Winnipeg.

On July 26, 2021 shortly after 3:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated woman who was causing a disturbance at a residence by trying to damage property and screaming. The homeowner was unable to prevent her actions from escalating.  The 22-year-old was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On July 26, 2021, police responded to a report of a man who was intoxicated in the 3100' block of Victoria Ave shortly before 7:00 pm. The man was harassing other individuals. To prevent his behavior from escalating, he was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On July 26, 2021, police responded to a report of an assault in the 3300 block of Victoria Ave shortly after 11:00 pm. The three individuals involved were located; however, the victim would not cooperate.  The two suspects were intoxicated and behaving aggressively. To prevent their behavior from escalating further the 26-year-old male and 28-year-old male were arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
