A Brandon Correctional Centre inmate faces a charge of uttering threats after an incident earlier this month

On February 5, police say they received a report that the inmate threatened the life of a Correctional Officer claiming they had access to a gun, and once released would find the officer and shoot them.

The suspect, a 33-year-old man, is set to appear in court on Monday (Feb 22).
