Drugs and cash seized during search of a Brandon apartment building

Brandon police arrested a 23-year-old woman Wednesday evening (Apr. 14) on drug trafficking charges. 

At approximately, 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance in an apartment building on Cornell Bay, and once inside, observations made, lead officers to acquire a search warrant.

Police say the search turned up a variety of drugs including; Xanax, Methamphetamine, Gabapentin and Marijuana, as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash.

The suspect is set to appear in court in June on charges of Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Xanax, Meth, Gabapentin and Marihuana, and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.  

Brandon Police continue to investigate.

And Brandon police are searching for those responsible for breaking into a garage in the 500' block of 38th Street Wednesday (Apr  14) morning.

Officers say once inside, crooks stole two bicycles, one is described as a black CCM with white and green decorations. The second is described as a Raleigh Encore 700c hybrid, blue in color with black writing.
