Back on July 11 this year, Gary and Kayla Logeot had a son, Owen, who was diagnosed with a heart condition. A GoFundMe campaign has been started by family friends Charmaine Leigh and Shauna Laluk, on behalf of the family and here are some details from the page:

This go fund me is for Gary and Kayla Logeot. Their newborn son Owen was born with a heart condition that took about a week to be diagnosed. He spent a week in the Brandon Natal Intensive Care Unit and then was flown from Brandon to Winnipeg and then a couple days later was finally diagnosed and flew from Winnipeg to Edmonton for his surgery. The reason why this go fund me was started is to help them cover the travel and misc expenses that are not covered and to help catch up with bills until Gary is able to get off parental leave and to back to full time work. Owen is still in Edmonton and it will be a little while until he will be able to go home. Any money that is left over will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. The goal of the campaign is to raise $5,000.
