Keystone Agricultural Producers (KAP) and the Manitoba Young Farmers (MYF) program have announced that the 2021 Manitoba Young Farmers Conference will take place virtually next Thursday, March 4, 2021.

The event will focus on strategies for improving profitability without increasing farm size. Through expert presentations, participants will explore how to make data-driven decisions, improve efficiency, and add value to their farm.

KAP program manager Thea Green says young farmers need strategies and tools to remain competitive in an evolving global marketplace, "Providing practical learning opportunities to improve on-farm practices will help young farmers thrive during uncertain times."

A virtual platform will enable MYF to host industry experts, hold interactive workshops, and share farm tour videos. The platform also encourages participants to visit and network, with a social section available throughout the event.

The event is free for everyone, with a focus on farmers ages 18-40.
