The armed Manitoba military reservist, who rammed through a gate at Rideau Hall last summer, is to be sentenced today.
After breaching the gate, 46-year-old Corey Hurren then headed on foot while heavily armed towards the Prime Minister’s home at Rideau Cottage.
Hurren originally faced 21 weapons charges, and one of threatening Justin Trudeau, who wasn't home at the time.
Earlier this month, he pleaded guilty to 8 charges: 7 weapons offences and a charge of mischief for wrecking the gate.
