It's one sweet Christmas weather forecast - no snowstorms and above normal temperatures.
Environment Canada's Mike Russo says a mild Pacific flow will keep daytime highs in the minus-single digits into the weekend.
"The updated extended forecast is calling for about minus-2 degrees, which is quite mild for this time of year," says Russo. "The normal high for Brandon is around minus-11, so we're a fair amount above that."
However, he doesn't think we'll set any records. The record high for Brandon on December 24th was in 1989 when it hit 2.6 degrees. The record low was minus-36.1 set in 2000.
Russo says the widespread cloud is expected to clear out by Thursday, Boxing day, with sunny skies expected through Sunday.
