A celebration of the life for Jordan Ross will take place this Thursday. The family says a phone belonging to the Brandon man was found on remains discovered in the Assiniboine River near Dinsdale Park last Thursday. Police say autopsy results are still pending.
Ross had gone missing near Grand Valley Park Campground on June 17th. His Jeep was found later that day near the Trans-Canada bridge over the river.
The family posted an obituary on the “Find Jordan Ross” Facebook group.
“Following an exhaustive, determined, coordinated and inspiring search, the family of Jordan Ross are deeply saddened to announce his passing at the age of 41.
Jordan is survived by his wife, Katherine Jeroski; daughter, Micah Ross; mother, Sally Ross (Kerry Rensby); brothers, Mark Ross (his son, Haidyn Ross) and Jeff (Jennifer) Ross (their children, Caleb, Morgan & Dawson Ross); step-brothers, Jordan (Brooke) Rensby and Jamie Rensby; mother and father-in-law, Heather & Dave Jeroski; sisters-in-law, Amanda Jeroski (Graham Heuchert, and their children, Dakota and Ashton Heuchert) and Jocelyn (Anthony) Radawiec (their children, Julian & Nathaniel Radawiec).
Jordan was predeceased by his father, Allan Ross in 2012.
A Celebration of Jordan’s Life will be held at the Grand Valley Park Campground, Brandon, MB, on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Kurt Ardron officiating. Please bring your own lawn chair for seating. A time of lunch and fellowship will follow.
A Jam for Jordan benefit concert will be held at The 40, located at 210 – 18th Street North, Brandon, from 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. that evening (July 7th) with proceeds going directly to supporting Jordan’s family.
