On September 28, 2022, Brandon police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 300 block of 14th Street. Police believe the suspects gained entry overnight by forcing their way in through a fire escape. It’s unknown if anything was taken. On September 29, 2022 shortly after 4:00 am, police responded to a report of an assault at a residence. Investigation revealed that during an argument a 28-year-old woman allegedly assaulted a 40-year-old man by punching him. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service due to her intoxication level. She will be released once sober to appear in court on November 28, 2022 on a charge of Assault. The victim sustained minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

On September 29, 2022 at approximately 6:00 am, Brandon police came across two pedestrians in the 500 block of Pacific Avenue. POlice say one of the individuals, a 28-year-old man, was known to be bound by a curfew. He was arrested and later released to appear in court on November 28, 2022 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.

On September 27, 2022, police responded to a report of the stolen grey KIA Sorrento parked at a business in the 1800 block of Middleton Avenue. It was towed to Brandon Police Service for further investigation.

Suspects took the 2008 Grey KIA Sorrento with MB License plate HGS 626 sometime overnight, possibly by gaining access to the spare key. On September 28, 2022, police located and arrested a 39-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Appear. She was later released and will appear in court on November 28, 2022.
On September 28, 2022, police located and arrested a 34-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault with a Weapon, Utter Threats and Mischief to Property. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
On September 28, 2022, police located and arrested a 23-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to comply with Probation. She was later released and will appear in court on November 28, 2022
