Brandon police report a vehicle was stolen from the 100 block of Dennis Street

Police also lodged several people under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act

On July 20, 2022, Brandon police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from the 100 block of Dennis Street. The vehicle was last seen parked on the street on July 9th, 2022. It is described as a grey 2005 Nissan Murano with Manitoba license KAH 731. Anyone with information regarding this vehicle theft is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact

On July 20, 2022, shortly after 1:20 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance in the 2600 block of McDonald Avenue. Police say a 41-year-old woman was located in the area yelling and screaming.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On July 20, 2022, at approximately 3:10 pm, Brandon police responded to a report of an intoxicated male stumbling around a parking lot with no shoes on in the 2400 block of Victoria Avenue. Police say a 8-year-old man was located and found to be in no condition to care for himself and had no one else to care for him. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On July 20, 2022, just prior to 9 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance in the 100 block of McTavish Avenue East. Police say a 59-year-old man was located and found to be in no condition to care for himself and had no one else to care for him.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

Arrest Warrant:

On July 20, 2022, a 32-year-old female attended Brandon Police Service, as she was aware of outstanding charges for Careless Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Vehicle, Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.  She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.
