Brandon Wheat Kings visit the Moose Jaw Warriors tonight

It's the Brandon Wheat Kings and Warriors in Moose Jaw tonight (Dec 30).

It's the first time this season the Wheat Kings will play in the Warriors rink. The last time the two clubs met on October 1st, Brandon came away with a 4-1 win. The Wheat Kings got scoring from Charlie Elick, Calder Anderson, Evan Groening and Jake Chiasson in the game. The Warriors are coming off a big win Wednesday over the Winnipeg Ice by a score of 3-1 thanks to Ryder Korczak’s hat-trick. 

Brandon shutout the Regina Pats 4-0 Wednesday. Brett Hyland extended his goal scoring streak, and added an assist earning first star honours - and Carson Bjarnason picked-up the second shutout of the season and his WHL career, earning third star of the game. Also on Wednesday, Nolan Ritchie played in his 150th career WHL game - while Mason Ward will play in his 150th Game tonight in Moose Jaw.
