After canceling its season in 2020 due to COVID-19, the Canadian Football League announced today (June 14) teams will be returning to the field in 2021.
The league’s board of governors voted in favour of starting a shortened 14-game season on August 5th, with the Grey Cup scheduled for December 12, in Hamilton.
The league also said training are expected to get underway in early July, and a full schedule will be released on Tuesday (June 15).
