For the second straight year, the CFL will not be starting on time due to COVID-19.
In a statement, the league says they are pushing back the start to its 2021 season from June 10 to August 5, and are reducing the number of games played from 18 to 14.
Meantime, the Grey Cup, originally scheduled for November 21 in Hamilton, will now be played on December 12.
The CFL had to cancel it’s season last year due to the pandemic.
