The Canadian Pacific (CP) ‘Holiday Train’ will once again be virtual this year.
As it did in 2020, CP says it plans to host a virtual concert and donate to local food banks in communities across its rail network.
The online concert will begin at 6:00 pm Saturday, December 18th and Brandon’s Samaritan House Food Bank will be streaming the concert live on its Facebook page.
Also that evening, they’ll hosting a drive-thru food drive from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at 820 Pacific Avenue.
If you would like to support this cause, Samaritan House asks that you please drive by and drop off donations at their warehouse doors – volunteers will be ready to collect your items as you pull up.
Since its inception in 1999, the CP Holiday Train has travelled across Canada and the northern U-S raising money, collecting food, and highlighting the importance of food banks.
Over the years, it has raised $19.4 million and collected nearly five million pounds of food.
