The province is reporting no new COVID-19 cases keeping Manitoba’s total at 295, in the Prairie Mountain Health region the total is still 26.
Health officials say there are 10 active cases remaining, while 278 people have recovered from the virus.
No one is in hospital or intensive are, the number of deaths due to COVID-19 is still seven.
Meanwhile, it’s day one of Manitoba’s Phase Two Restoring Safe Services plan. Chief Public Health Officer, Dr. Brent Roussin says because of Manitoba’s favorable numbers the province is are able to continue the process of re-opening, “We have a broad re-opening but with restrictions, washing hands frequently, maintaining physical distancing whenever possible, and very important to success moving forward, staying home when you’re ill.”
