The Manitoba government is extending the COVID-19 State of Emergency for another month.
The extension takes effect at 4:00 pm today, Tuesday, July 14th.
A state of emergency allows the government to take quick action to support Manitobans when they need it most. The state of emergency was first declared on March 20th by the powers set out in section 10(1) and 10(2) of The Emergency Measures Act to enable the province to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was further extended on April 18th, May 17th and June 15th.
