On May 15, 2023, shortly after 4:00 pm, police responded to a report of an assault at a residence. The adult female indicated that her partner had attempted to assault her by choking her. The alleged suspect then made a counter complaint indicating that he had also been assaulted. Both were arrested and later released to appear in court June 5, 2023, on charges of Assault.

On May 15, 2023, Brandon police received a report of a theft of approximately $200 worth of grocery meat from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. An employee of the business identified a female suspect. Police say a 23-year-old woman was located, arrested, and later released to appear in court on July 10, 2023, on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

On May 15, 2023, at approximately 5:10pm, police received a report of noncompliance with a court order. A 39-year-old male suspect was located and arrested. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service to attend court this morning on a charge of Fail to Comply with a Court Order.

On May 15, 2023, Brandon police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 800 block of Parker Boulevard. Police say a 20-year-old female had allegedly struck another vehicle, proceeded to get out of her vehicle, looked at the damage, and then left the scene. She was located, arrested, and later released to attend court on July 10 on a charge of Prohibited Driving.

On May 16, 2023, at approximately 2:00am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Louise Avenue. Police say the 30-year-old driver of the vehicle was found to be on a condition not to have contact with the passenger. Officers say a search of the vehicle also revealed a large sum of cash, a small amount of methamphetamine, and a can of bear spray. The driver was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to attend court this morning on charges of Fail to Comply Release Order x2, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

On May 15, 2023, Melfort, Saskatchewan RCMP located and arrested a 34-year-old male on outstanding Brandon Police Service charges of Assault with a Weapon, Unlawfully in a Dwelling, Forcible Confinement, and Party to the Offence of Sexual Assault. He was lodged to appear in court this morning.
On May 15, 2023, Winnipeg Police Service located and arrested a 32-year-old female on several outstanding Brandon Police Service charges. She was lodged to appear in court this morning.
