The province is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 keeping Manitoba’s total at 325, in the Prairie Mountain Health region the total is still 26.
Health officials say 16 active cases are left with no coronavirus patients in the hospital or the intensive care unit. The number of deaths dur to the virus remains at seven, 302 people have recovered.
As of Thursday (July 2) morning, a total of 64,329 tests have been performed at the Cadham Provincial Lab.
Meanwhile, officials have updated information on one of the previously announced COVID-19 cases on June 29, a passenger on Air Canada flight AC 295 from Winnipeg to Vancouver on June 18, on Air Canada flight AC 122 from Vancouver to Toronto on June 21 and on Air Canada flight AC 259 from Toronto to Winnipeg on June 23. They say those in rows 19 to 25 on flight AC 295 and rows 24 to 30 on flight AC 259 are considered a close contact and are at risk of exposure. Those in the selected rows are advised to self-isolate for 14 days following the flight and monitor for symptoms. Passengers on these flights, but not in the affected seats, should self-monitor for symptoms and self-isolate if they develop.
