One new COVID-19 case is being reported in Manitoba increasing the province’s total to 325, in the Prairie Mountain Health region the total is still 26.
Health officials say 18 cases are now active, no COVID patients are in the hospital or the intensive care unit, and 300 people have recovered.
Today’s case is a woman in her 20s from the Winnipeg health region – no other information has been provided as the case investigation is ongoing.
Meanwhile one of the previous announced cases on June 29 was a passenger on Air Canada flight 295 from Winnipeg to Vancouver June 18th, and Air Canada flight 259 from Toronto to Winnipeg on June 23.
Manitoba health officials are encouraging those who were in rows 19 to 15 on flight 295 and rows 34 to 40 on flight 259 should self-monitor for symptoms and seek testing if they develop symptoms.
