The Brandon Wheat Kings shutout the Kelowna Rockets 3-0 Wednesday night.
The Wheat Kings got off to a great start Wednesday night scoring the opening goal with Nate Danielson crashing the net collecting a rebound on the right side to make it 1-0 Wheat Kings heading into the second period.
The Wheat Kings would score a pair in the second. First Andrei Malyavin would score his first WHL goal from a shot from the point to make it 2-0. Then during a Wheat Kings powerplay Nate Danielson would fire a shot which would get redirected by Nolan Ritchie to give the Wheat Kings a 3-0 lead in the third period.
Carson Bjarnason would stand tall the rest of the way stopping all 29 shots he faced to pick up his first career WHL shutout.

The Wheat Kings will head back towards Manitoba but will take a pit stop in Alberta to take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
