Support continues to come in for a 20-year-old hockey player from Souris who suffered severe paralysis after crashing into the boards in a game last week.
Braden Pettinger was playing with the Portage Terriers when he crashed into the board head first late in the game.
A GoFundMe page was set up for Braden Tuesday, and in one day, they have reached their goal of 36-thousand dollar. You can check out the campaign here.
A social is being planned for boxing day by community members in Souris.
