On Air

Harry Callaghan

I began my radio career in 1981 in Dryden, Ontario and worked my way to news and co-hosting jobs on morning shows at the biggest radio stations in Winnipeg.

For the past several years, I was the morning news anchor and co-host of a News Talk radio station in Kelowna, BC before an opportunity arose to join the fantastic team in Brandon at Q Country 91.5!

I’m a published children’s book author. My book “Summer Santa” was published by Big Heart Publishers. I’m also a drummer, having played in various bands for years, and recorded an 8 song EP with Kelowna band “The Silverbacks” titled “Déjà vu Blues.”.

You're only allowed to eat 3 things for the rest of your life, name them.

The "3 P's" of course - Pizza, Pancakes & Pistachios - Which sadly, could lead to some sort of explosion.

Name a movie title that explains your life.

"Spinal Tap" - But thankfully so far, I haven't exploded behind the drum kit.
