A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away … sorry, that is my other story.
My radio career began 33 years ago, working down the street from Q Country here in Brandon with CKX Radio and Television. A month into my training at Assiniboine Community College, I was offered a job doing Evenings and Weekends on the AM station. Working almost every shift in a short time, I decided to leave school when I was offered the Morning show. In ’91 I moved to the FM side and did Programming and the Morning Show until I moved to Winnipeg in 1998. Magic 99.9 placed me on the Afternoon Show, then to Mornings (6 months later). Other stops included stints at; NCI-FM, FREQ 107, WAVE 107.9. Most recently, I was proud to own and operate 2 internet radio stations (BIG FM dot CA and CHANNEL 1 RADIO dot COM).
Something you may not know:
- Play-By-Play Hockey Broadcaster MJHL (2005-2018)
- Former GM of the Wheat City Whiskey Jacks Baseball Club
Big fan of: Winnipeg Jets, Trips to Las Vegas & CNN.
