Most people would hate the sound of a super loud grinder in the morning - but not this guy. That wonderful sound means that a sweet, life-giving elixer is soon to follow. The aroma, taste, and energy that results from said grinding can only be one thing: sweet, delicious coffee.
I'll admit, I never touched the stuff until I was in college, when the long hours and heavy workload made it almost a necessity. I didn't even own a coffee maker until a (now) ex-girlfriend came for the weekend to visit, so long as I had the ability to make morning coffee for us both.
Years later, and I'm not sure how I lived without it. It's delicious, can be made in a variety of ways, and best of all, it does NOT dehydrate you as was previously believed. I mean, it's water being filtered through crushed beans - it's not like all of the hydration that water provides magically disappears when you turn the coffee maker on!
So to all my fellow coffee-holics, I say, bottoms up! How do YOU coffee? French press? Old school stove-top percolater? Let me know!
