Imma be honest… When I was growing up I used to hate mowing the lawn, oh I hated it so much. But now I'm a homeowner, I get excited to do it. I hate to say it but I have become my dad.
My dad always does the mowing and the tinkering of his lawn mower and I told myself that would never be me.. It turns out that is now me.
You have no idea how excited I was when I bought my new lawn mower this season and how excited I was to use it. But when is the best time of the day to use it?
According to garden website Garden Seeker, mowing at night isn't good...partly because your neighbors will hate you. But you also shouldn't do it too early in the morning, or in the middle of the day. Here's why:
If you mow too early, lets say around 6:00 am or 7:00 am, the grass might still be wet from the dew overnight and that can clog your mower. Mowing in the middle of the day isn't great either, because the heat can be hard on the grass. And mowing too late isn't good because your grass needs time to recover before the sun goes down to prevent fungus and various diseases at night.
The best time to mow your lawn is between 8:00 am and 10:00 am to avoid these problems. Or if you're not a morning person, late afternoon is also good between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm
