I finished in 3:26:00 and was honestly one of the hardest things I've done
I've mentioned this a couple of times but for the past 6 months I have been training to run my first marathon, and I ran it on Thursday!
I started at my house here in Brandon and I ran past Kemnay and back, it took me 3:26:00 and was honestly one of the hardest things I've ever done, it didn't help that winds were gusting at 60 KM/H on Thursday.
However, I can tell you hitting "The Wall" is a very real thing, I stopped running at like the 24-mile mark to catch my breath for a bit and I was telling my body that we need to keep moving, but I couldn't, I probably stood there for like 5 minutes just unable to move.
But I finished and the soreness has started to set in, not going to lie I am in a tremendous amount of pain, but it will pass. Big shout out to everyone who supported me through this journey.
