It's hard to keep a good idea down, and there are few Prairie Traditions as good as the Community Fall Supper. Many of our Rural Communities depend on their Fall Suppers each year as a source of income and Solidarity, this year that's more of a challenge than usual.
But, where there's a will, theres a way.
I found this on Killarney United Churches Facebook Page. Nice work Killarney! It reads... "
Fall Dinner - There will be a pickup/takeout fall dinner . Sunday Oct 11th.
We are asking for pre orders to be phoned to the church 204-523-8924 or Merle at 204-523-2312 preferable Monday, Thur or Fri morning when the office is open. Other times leave a message. Your call will be returned and you will be given time for pickup.
Orders to be submitted by October 1st.
Menu - Turkey, dressing potatoes, turnips, coleslaw, dinner roll. and dessert.
Watch for further notices."
If YOUR Community is planning a Covid Style Fall Supper - let us know! email the info to email@example.com - we'll share it with the World :).
Now pass the 'Taters.
