Pilots 3000 feet Above Los Angeles saw WHAT

Pilots 3000 feet Above Los Angeles saw WHAT

My Sisters Family lives in L.A. - a beautiful part of the World that tends to attract inviduals chasing a dream. Sometimes, apparently, that dream is found UP.

An American Airlines flight was the first to report a "guy in a jetpack" at 3,000 feet above L.A. International Airport Sunday. They said that the guy was only 30 yards away from the aplane.

"Tower. American 1997. We just passed a guy on a jetpack, off the left side maybe 300 -- 30 yards or so. About our altitude."

Not long after, another plane spotted him.

"We just saw the guy fly by us on the jetpack," crew reported.

Air traffic control then warned a JetBlue flight to "use caution... person on a jetpack reported 300 yards south."

The controller concluded with: "Only in LA." I'm betting his name was George.
