I would like to think that everyone enjoys getting a night of good solid sleep. Being able to wake up and feel well-rested is an amazing feeling. Unfortunately, not everyone can get that solid 8 hours of uninterupted deep healthy sleep. So many factors can cause an imperfect sleep cycle. Stress, anxiety, temperature, illness, electronics, caffine and a long list of other potential sleep disorders. For myself, I am guilty of hitting the snooze button way too often, making it difficult to get out of bed. Some people have sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, sleep paralysis, restless leg syndrome and so on that make it very difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. Every age group also has a recommened amount of sleep hours needed. Being in the adult category it is said that I need 7-9 hours of sleep a night and right now I am hitting that target but still waking up feeling exhausted. Maybe it's as simple as getting a new mattress or not drinking fluids an hour or two before bed to get a solid sleep. Here are a few tips on how to improve your sleep.
