Halloween. That Magical Day when a Kid could be ANYTHING or ANYONE. The Candy is ok, but for me it was always about the costumes. I rocked out Batman, Spiderman, Aquaman (really all the Mans), Wereweolves, and Frankensteins... then covered them up with a snow suit. Binscarth Haunted House will be open October 23rd, 24th, and then 29th, 30th, 31st. Each night they are open from 7-10 pm. Saturday afternoon they are holding a kid-friendly, no scare, fun music afternoon from 2-5 pm $5.00 entry fee. All proceeds go to local organizations

The Nightmare Factory in Deloraine is a go as well at 111 Broadway St. They will be open October 30th and 31st from 7p - 10p. Donations accepted at the door and COVID-19 precautions will be in place. You can get more information on their Facebook page.

Grim Acres Scare Away Cancer, a favorite here in Brandon and Area, will not hold their event this year. Organizers would still like you to consider donating to the Canadian Cancer Society.
