This week in BC and Alberta we've seen previous high temperature records literally smashed as the mercury soared above 46 degrees C, and that doesn't even take the humidex into account. I'm not a fan of super hot weather and I'm not really sure how I would handle temperatures that high. When we were kids my Dad would jimmy the garden hose into the handle of a potato digging fork and we would run through it for hours. I'm pretty sure these days I'd just park myself in front of the air conditioning vent and wait it out. How do you beat the heat?
