I’ll admit, getting tested for COVID-19 wasn’t NEARLY as bad as I thought it would be.
Granted, I could teach a Masters class on how to make mountains out of molehills, but I know people who said that the test itself was one of the most uncomfortable things they’ve ever experienced.
I was afraid of, but not limited to: the swab poking my brain, it breaking off somewhere in my sinus cavity, and it hitting some weird gag reflex and making me barf all over the nurse/my car.
Luckily for me, this was not the case. I’d have to say that, yes, it WAS uncomfortable…but more in the “Wow, I have to sneeze REALLY bad” sense more than anything else. No feelings of barfing. Just a little eye watering, and it was over before I knew it.
So, to make a short story slightly longer, don’t fret if you need to get a COVID swab. Better safe than sorry!
