There are plenty of playoff scenerios still in play heading into the final round-robin games Saturday at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Provincial Women’s Curling Championship at Tundra Oil & Gas Place in Virden.
In the Black Group, Kerri Einarson is 6-and-0 and Chelsea Carey is 5-and-1, with those teams playing on the 12:15 p.m. draw on Saturday.
The winner will finish in first-place, but a Carey loss could also mean a possible tiebreaker if 4-and-2 Darcy Robertson wins her final round-robin game against Kate Cameron.
Things are even more complicated in the Red Group, where six of the eight teams are still alive for a tiebreaker spot.
Janet Harvey leads the group at 5-and-1 with Michelle Montford and Barb Spencer tied for second at 4-and-2.
Brandonites Kelsey Russill and Kortney Teale along with Joelle Brown are 3-and-3 and could still earn a tiebreaker if things fall right.
The Red Droup hits the ice for the final games at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
