It was a history-setting day for the Vincent Massey Vikings at the Provincial High School Urban Soccer Championship.
The Vikings blanked the West Kildonan Wolverines 2-0 Saturday to claim the varsity boys’ provincial crown, the first time a Brandon-based school has ever won the title.
Andriy Kozoriz of the Vikings was named the Tournament MVP while teammates Duncan Campbell, Alex Alvarado and Tamil Tahaan were named tournament all-stars.
The Kelvin Clippers took the varsity girls’ title, beating the Sturgeon Heights Huskies 4-1 in the final.
