The Brandon Marlins had six different batters drive in a run in a 6-2 victory over the Oak River Dodgers in Manitoba Senior Baseball League action on Wednesday night.
Nolan Jago led the way by going 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored while Jesse Goertzen tossed seven innings of seven-hit ball to pick up the win on the mound for the Marlins.
Mike McFadden went 3-for-4 at the dish for Oak River while Taw Fredrickson took the loss, allowing five runs in nine hits in six innings of work.
The victory improved the Marlins’ record to 4-1-1 while the Dodgers fell to 2-and-5 with the loss.
Next action in the MSBL comes up Friday when the Dodgers visit Neepawa and the Reston Rockets host the Brandon Cloverleafs.
