The RBC Cup host Portage Terriers have bounced back at the Western Canada Cup in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
The MJHL champions got two goals and an assist from Jordyn Boyd and doubled Melita’s David Heath and the Melfort Mustangs 6-3 on Sunday.
Dane Schioler added three helpers as Portage evened their record to 1-and-1 after dropping their opening game of the tournament on Saturday 3-1 against the host Oil Barons.
Shawn Bowles of Elkhorn and Brandonite Carson Perreaux had goals for the Terriers, who are back in action on Tuesday afternoon against the Penticton Vees.
