The Brandon Bobcats men’s basketball team lost big 96-64 to Thompson Rivers in game 2 last night.
The Bobcats fell back down to reality after a high-scoring game in the first game of the series, only shooting 33%.
WolfPack’s Derek Rhodes scored 21 points and was 8 for 12 shooting with 3 for 4 from behind the arc.
Thompson Rivers shot 48% for the game.
Game 3 is tonight at the HLC, game starting at 7PM.
The third and deciding game was not all luck for the Bobcats women’s basketball team.
Keisha Cox got the team within 3 to the Trinity Western Spartans with less than a minute left, before the Spartans could finally get away and win 67-60.
Trinity Western will advance to the next round, while the Bobcats will finish their season after making their first playoff appearance in team history.
