Former Bobcat “Deebo” passes away

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – Former Brandon Bobcat basketball player Donovan Gayle, also known as Deebo, has passed away at the age of 35.
Gayle was a Bobcat for four years starting in 2008 and playing until 2012, famous for getting the last dunk at the old BU gym.
He was be remembered for his cheerful and outgoing personality.
Gayle was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and fought off the disease, but recently relapsed and was given months to live.
