Calgary, AB (CKLQ) – Roblin native Jakob Brook has been named the WHL’s Eastern Conference Scholastic Player of the year.
The 17-year-old forward with the Prince Albert Raiders maintained an overall average of 92% in his grade eleven year. He also registered a 98% in Physical Education, 95% in Physical Science and 90% in Native Studies.
Brook and the Raiders are in a 2-2 series deadlock with the Saskatoon Blades in the Eastern Conference Semi-final, game five is tomorrow night in Prince Albert.
Dustin Wolf of the Everett Silvertips was the Western Conference winner.
