The province’s streak of six straight days of no new COVID-19 cases has come to an end as health officials are reporting one new case. Manitoba’s total now sits at 301, in the Prairie Mountain Health region the total is still 26.
There are only five active cases left in Manitoba with no one in hospital or the intensive care unit. The number of deaths due to the virus remains at seven, while 289 people have recovered.
As of Thursday (June 11), a total of 52,255 tests have been performed at the Cadham Provincial Lab.
