Regional Differences: Word vs Word

Being originally from Kingston Ontario, I struggle with a few terminologies that don’t regularly get used here in Brandon Manitoba. For myself, it is a garbage disposal, not a garburator and I use the term convenience store and corner store. Other examples include: 
Toque vs Hat 
Rubber Band vs Elastic Band 
Supper vs Dinner
Care-a-mel vs Car-mel
What other regional differences do you know?
